Financial regulations
1. Registration
A pupil’s first enrolment at Pomme d'Api involves a €300 administration fee. This fee is charged only once throughout the pupil’s time at Pomme d'Api and must be paid before the school year begins.
When enrolment is formalised, Pomme d'Api also requires a €500 advance payment to reserve the place. This is deducted from the pupil’s first-term fees and must be paid before their enrolment file is created.
If enrolment is cancelled before the school year begins, neither the €300 administration fee nor the €500 first-term advance payment will be refunded, without exception.
Payment of the registration fee constitutes acceptance of the financial regulations.
2. Tuition and lunch fees
Tuition and lunch fees will not change during the school year, from September to June. Any changes will be communicated several months in advance, during the school year before they take effect.
These fees are normally invoiced termly. If a pupil leaves during the school year, the current term will be charged in full.
Besides tuition, these fees include all necessary school materials and compulsory school insurance.
3. Discounts
All families with three or more children enrolled in a French school in the Community of Madrid that is an AEFE partner school receive a 25% discount on their child’s tuition fees throughout their schooling at Pomme d'Api.
School attendance certificates will be required.
The discount applies from the current term after the certificate is received, and never retrospectively.
4. School trips, external providers and extracurricular activities
Extracurricular activities may be charged directly by the service provider or by Pomme d'Api, as specified on the registration form.
If a child withdraws from an extracurricular activity, the remainder of the current month will be charged.
Educational trips and external sessions are charged to parents as specified and communicated by Pomme d'Api by email or circular.
5. Payment methods
Pomme d'Api accepts the following payment methods:
Bank transfer
Direct debit *
School grants
Childcare vouchers: Sodexo, Cheque Dejeuner, Edenred, Cobee, etc.
Cash, provided the amount does not exceed the limit set by applicable law.
* If a direct debit is rejected, a €5 charge will be applied to cover bank fees.
6. Unpaid fees
If an invoice remains unpaid, payment will be requested by letter from the fifteenth day after its issue.
The letter will request payment of the invoice and allow a further 15 days to settle the debt.
If the invoice remains unpaid 45 days after its issue, Pomme d'Api reserves the right to refuse the pupil’s attendance and terminate their enrolment.
To move to the Lycée Français de Madrid or another AEFE school after completing their schooling at Pomme d'Api, the pupil’s fees must be paid up to date.
No pupil with an outstanding debt may finalise enrolment at another AEFE school.
Pomme d'Api subsequently reserves the right to recover unpaid amounts by all means available to it.
