How we apply the French model in preschool
The school provides preschool education for children aged 2 to 6: Toute Petite Section (age 2), Petite Section (age 3), Moyenne Section (age 4) and Grande Section (age 5).
Learning follows the official French curriculum. We have native French-speaking, qualified teachers specialising in preschool education, supervised by the French National Education Inspectorate and the pedagogical adviser for the Iberian Peninsula.
Four hours of Spanish are taught each week by teachers qualified by the Spanish Ministry of Education, under the supervision of the Community of Madrid’s education authority.

Accreditation and progression to the Lycée Français de Madrid
From their admission to Pomme d'Api, pupils are assured a place at the Lycée Français de Madrid once they have completed preschool at our school.
Primary education will take place at the Lycée Français. Pomme d'Api follows the official French curriculum, is accredited by the French Ministry of Education and is an AEFE partner school.
